Everyday Procedures

New updates coming soon.

Contacting Staff

We understand that occasionally you may need to speak to a member of staff about an urgent matter and often the most convenient time for you is at the beginning or end of the day. Unfortunately this is also our busiest time and sometimes we are unable to give you the attention and confidentiality you need.

We would ask that wherever possible you ring or email before you come into school so that we can ensure a private space and the correct member of staff is available to deal with your concerns. We cannot disturb staff in lessons or meetings and to avoid a wasted journey we ask that appointments are made in advance. Your concerns are very important to us and we want to make sure they are dealt with quickly and in complete confidence.

First Aid

Staff are only allowed to administer very basic first aid to pupils and no medication can be given without a completed medication form. If you have any concerns over your child’s health please seek medical advice and do not send your child to school. Please contact the school absence line before 9.30am if your child is not able to come to school. Pupils sent to school feeling unwell will be asked to remain in lessons unless their condition changes and causes concern. We will only call you if we have serious concerns requiring immediate attention otherwise pupils will remain in school and in lessons until the end of the day.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries about the above changes. We would like to thank you for your consideration in these matters and assure you that the welfare of your children in our care remains our utmost priority.
